The Black Ledge Group is proud to announce that it has entered into a joint venture with an undisclosed partner to start conceptual development of modifications to extend the attack and surveillance range of the Joint Strike Fighter (F-35). This project will target a mission specific goal for the U.S. military and its partners on the Joint Strike Fighter program, while allowing the F-35 to maintain its stealth capability. Black Ledge Group President and CEO John C. Buckridge had this to say, "This project is still in its infancy stages, but it is certainly one that I and The Black Ledge Group firmly believe in. Any chance that we have to support Lockheed Martin and the US Government as well as its allies on a project as monumental as the Joint Strike fighter is something we feel very strongly about and intend to put our full capability and expertise behind."

GIS Aerospace extends the current Black Ledge Group contract and begins to ramp up to support potential logistical services for Lockheed Martin on the Joint Strike Fighter program. GIS Aero feels that the additional expertise and engineering capability that The Black Ledge Group brings to the table will increase their own product offerings as well as improve their efficiency and breadth of product offering with Lockheed Martin.
